One dead, two injured in Queens shooting, police say

QUEENS, N.Y. — A shooting early Sunday morning in the 105th Precinct left one man dead and two others injured, according to the New York Police Department.

Officers responded to a 911 call at approximately 1:04 a.m. in the vicinity of 132-45 220th Street, where they found three men with gunshot wounds. A 33-year-old man was shot in the torso, a 24-year-old man had a gunshot wound to the neck, and another 24-year-old man was shot in the torso, police said.

Emergency Medical Services transported the 33-year-old to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he is listed in stable condition. The 24-year-old with the neck wound was taken to North Shore Manhasset Hospital and is also in stable condition. The other 24-year-old, who was critically injured, was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center, where he was later pronounced dead.

The identity of the deceased is pending family notification. No arrests have been made, and the investigation is ongoing.
