One Injured in Springfield Shooting, Suspect in Custody

SPRINGFIELD, OH – A shooting transpired in Springfield last Wednesday, resulting in one person injured.

The Springfield Police Department disclosed that an altercation took place on the 1600 block of North Yellow Springs Street at approximately 3:25 p.m., where several men targeted another individual.

The man, who was returning home, suffered a gunshot wound to his foot.

He was transported to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Following the incident, one suspect has been taken into custody by the police.
