One Injured, One Arrested Following Early Morning Shooting in East Columbus

COLUMBUS, OH – A shooting incident in east Columbus has left one person critically injured and resulted in an arrest early Sunday morning.

Columbus police officers were dispatched to the 6600 block of East Broad Street just before 2 a.m., responding to a call regarding a domestic dispute.

Upon arrival, officers found one individual suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. The victim was transported to a hospital in critical condition.

The Columbus Police Department (CPD) has confirmed that an adult suspect was arrested at the scene and has been charged with felonious assault.
