One person seriously injured in Toms River Fourth of July street fight

TOMS RIVER, NJ – Toms River Police reported today that a fight broke out in a residential neighborhood in East Dover lead to one person being airlifted to Jersey Shore Medical Center with serious injuries.

Police reported at approximately 9:30 PM, officers were called to Hazelwood Road in Toms River for a reported injured person. An initial investigation revealed there was an altercation in the street and one victim was flown to Jersey Shore Medical University for serious injuries. The investigation is ongoing at this time.
