The Monmouth County Prosecutor’s Office today reported one person has been shot at the Walmart center on Route 66 in Neptune Township. The man was shot at around 1:30 pm Wednesday afternoon in the parking lot at Walmart. Police and the Monmouth County Prosecutor’s office are investigating the shooting. One suspect is reportedly in custody. The status of the victim is unknown and no further details have been released.
