One Person Shot in Swissvale County Investigating Attempted Homicide

SWISSVALE, PA – Investigators from the Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide Unit responded to a request for assistance in Swissvale late last night for a shooting.

According to police, at approximately 10:42 am, Allegheny County 9-1-1 was notified of a shooting in the 2200 block of South Braddock Avenue.

“First responders found an adult male victim suffering from gunshot wounds to the abdominal area. He was transported to an area hospital and is in critical condition. Homicide detectives initiated an investigation,” police reported.
