One Seriously Injured in Charlotte Shooting

CHARLOTTE, NC – A shooting occurred near uptown Charlotte early Monday morning, leaving one person seriously injured.

The incident took place at Polk Street and Johnson Street near Music Factory Boulevard just before 1 a.m.

The victim was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

The circumstances leading up to the shooting remain unclear, and it is unknown if any arrests have been made.

The Charlotte Police Department is investigating the incident and encourages anyone with information to contact them.
