One shot in bicycle drive-by shooting in Brooklyn

BROOKLYN, NY – The New York City Police Department is searching for a suspect wanted in a bicycle-based drive-by shooting on Thursday.

According to detectives with the 77th Precinct, a man riding a bicycle shot at a group of individuals standing in front of 1455 Saint John’s Place in Crown Heights at around 10:00 pm.

A 32-year-old male was struck in the left shoulder and taken to Kings County Hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury.

The gunman fled on his bicycle, heading north on Utica Avenue.

No arrests have been made at this time.
