One Shot, One Stabbed Overnight in Yonkers

YONKERS, NY – Yonkers police are investigating an incident that left one man shot and another stabbed Thursday night.

Just before 9:30 PM on Thursday, Yonkers Police units swiftly responded to a report of shots fired in the vicinity of 354 Nepperhan Avenue.

Upon arrival, officers found two males with injuries. One of the males had suffered a gunshot wound to his leg, while the other had a stab wound to his abdomen. Both individuals received prompt medical attention and are currently in stable condition.

According to preliminary information, the incident seems to have arisen from a dispute, and there is no active threat to the public at this time.

The investigation into the matter is ongoing, and as more information becomes available, it may be released to the public.
