Online Meeting Leads to Robbery and Assault in Odenton

Odenton, MD – A 19-year-old male victim was assaulted and robbed in Odenton after agreeing to meet a woman he had contacted online. The incident occurred on January 27, at approximately 11:25 p.m., near the intersection of Oleander Way and Starflower Lane.

Upon arriving at the agreed-upon location, the victim was unexpectedly confronted by a group of eight suspects, including two female suspects of unknown race, one white male suspect, and five black male suspects. The suspects assaulted the victim and stole his property, including his cell phone.

After the attack, the victim managed to run to a nearby residence to seek help and call the authorities. The Western District detectives are now leading an investigation into this incident and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
