An online lottery player has hit the jackpot by matching all five numbers in the Lucky Day Lotto midday drawing on Sunday, August 4, taking home a grand prize of $900,000. The winning numbers for the draw were 8, 14, 20, 24, and 27.
In addition to the jackpot winner, the Illinois Lottery announced that over 24,000 other Lucky Day Lotto tickets were winners in the same drawing, distributing more than $963,000 in total prizes among Illinois players.
Winners have a one-year window from the date of the drawing to claim their prizes. The Illinois Lottery advises all winners to sign the back of their tickets and store them securely until they are ready to claim their winnings.
