PORTSMOUTH, VA – A shooting that occurred overnight in Portsmouth is currently under investigation by the local police department.
Officers were called to the London Oaks Apartments on the 1100 block of Virginia Avenue at approximately 12:30 a.m. on Monday.
Upon arrival, police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound. The man was transported to a nearby hospital, and his injuries have been classified as non-life-threatening.
The Portsmouth Police Department is working to uncover more information about the incident.
