Overnight Shooting Under Investigation in Greenbelt

GREENBELT, MD — At around 9:20 pm, officers were dispatched to the 7800 block of Jacobs Drive following reports of a non-contact shooting. A bullet was found inside a closet, having penetrated the building’s outer wall siding.

Fortunately, there were no injuries reported. As of now, no suspects have been identified, and the incident does not seem to be targeted.
