Owings Mills couple eyes new home after $2 million lottery win

OWINGS MILLS, Md. — A Baltimore County couple is contemplating purchasing a new home after winning a $2 million top prize on the Maryland Lottery’s MONOPOLY X200 scratch-off game.

The wife, an avid lottery player, has won smaller prizes in the past but never anything as substantial as this life-changing jackpot.

The winning ticket was purchased at the Royal Farms store on Reisterstown Road in Owings Mills, earning the retailer a $2,000 bonus for selling the prize-winning ticket.

Despite their newfound wealth, the couple said they plan to continue playing the lottery.

Three more $2 million top prizes remain in the MONOPOLY X200 game, along with several second-tier prizes of $50,000.
