OWINGS MILLS, MD — An Owings Mills retiree, fondly known as “Jerry,” is celebrating a life-changing $88,000 win after purchasing an Electric 8s scratch-off ticket.
The Baltimore County resident, who enjoys playing Pick 3, Pick 4, and scratch-offs, bought the $10 ticket at Lakeside Liquors in Owings Mills. After bringing the ticket home, he discovered it held the game’s $88,000 top prize. “Jerry,” accompanied by his wife, plans to share the winnings with his family and donate to their church.
Lakeside Liquors, where the ticket was purchased, will receive an $880 bonus for selling the top-prize winning ticket.
