Oxford Man Turns Himself in on Assault Charges

OXFORD, PA – Isaiah Rothwell, a 22-year-old resident of Oxford, surrendered to the police on Tuesday.

Rothwell is charged with strangulation, simple assault, and harassment.

The alleged crimes took place on Monday, August 6, at 5:18 AM on the 400 block of Market Street.

 The Oxford Police Department was alerted by a female victim who reported the assault. Rothwell had fled before the police’s arrival.

He has been released on unsecured bail and is scheduled for a preliminary hearing at the Oxford District Court on August 29.
