PHILADELPHIA, PA – The Powerball® jackpot, currently at $1.4 billion ($643.7 million cash value) for the upcoming Saturday drawing, has highlighted Pennsylvania’s recent winnings. Four tickets from the Wednesday, October 4 drawing total an impressive $3.2 million. This comprises a $2 million ticket from Luzerne County, a $1 million ticket from Philadelphia, and two $100,000 tickets from York and Allegheny counties.
CITGO at 2999 Bear Creek Boulevard in Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne County, and United Food Market at 500 East Walnut Lane in Philadelphia have been recognized for selling the $2 million and $1 million tickets respectively. CITGO earned a bonus of $10,000, while United Food Market received a $5,000 bonus.
Furthermore, Turkey Hill at 1500 West Market St. in York and Rite Aid at 209 Atwood St. in Pittsburgh sold the $100,000 tickets, each earning a $500 bonus.
The $2 million ticket successfully matched all five white balls, with numbers 9-35-54-63-64. The $1 million ticket matched these same five balls. Meanwhile, the two $100,000 tickets matched four of the white balls and the red Powerball® 1.
