Parkway Fire Slowed Friday Evening Commute

BRICK TOWNSHIP, NJ – It’s fire season here in New Jersey and brush fires are popping up across the state, but on Friday, one brush fire cause major delays for residents just trying to put an end to the week.

A fire broke out along the Garden State Parkway in the area of mile marker 67 in the Barnegat section of the Pine Barrens. Traffic in the southbound lanes slowed while the fire was extinguished.
