Parsippany Hills Defeats Lenape Valley in Rainy Friday Night Action

PARSIPPANY HILLS, NJ — Parsippany Hills emerged victorious in a high-scoring match against Lenape Valley, ending the game 41-28 on Friday evening.

The game started off with a bang as Joseph Ciccotelli of Parsippany Hills caught a 60-yard touchdown pass. Lenape Valley responded with a 5-yard run but missed the extra point, leaving the score at 7-6 after the first quarter.

Parsippany Hills dominated the second quarter, putting up three touchdowns to take a commanding 28-6 lead into halftime. Among the key plays was a 51-yard interception return for a touchdown by Julio Tatis.

The second half saw both teams trading touchdowns, but Parsippany Hills’ early lead proved insurmountable. Lenape Valley made a last-ditch effort in the fourth quarter with two touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to close the gap.

Quarterback Joshua Smith of Parsippany Hills had a standout performance, throwing for 197 yards. Julio Tatis contributed in multiple facets, with 69 rushing yards, a sack, and a crucial interception. Joseph Ciccotelli led the team in receiving with 117 yards and also snagged an interception.
