Paterson, NJ – The Paterson Police Department shut down an after-hours party in the basement of a barbershop on Park Avenue over the weekend due to a dangerous gas leak. The party’s organizers had locked themselves and their patrons inside by closing and locking a metal rolling gate, creating a hazardous situation.

The fire department discovered the gas leak, which had the potential to destroy shops along the block. Fortunately, the leak was identified before anyone was injured. Authorities emphasized the risks posed by such unauthorized gatherings to both attendees and the surrounding community.
