ALLENTOWN, PA – A pedestrian was killed Friday night after being struck by a vehicle on the 2400 block of South Fourth Street, according to the Allentown Police Department.

The incident occurred around 8 p.m. when emergency crews arrived to find the victim suffering from life-threatening injuries.

The pedestrian was transported by EMS to a nearby hospital, where they later died from their injuries.

Authorities have not released the identity of the victim pending family notification, and no further details about the driver or the vehicle have been disclosed.
