Pedestrian Fatality in North Braddock Incident, Investigation Underway

NORTH BRADDOCK, PA – The Allegheny County Police Department’s Homicide and Collision Reconstruction Units are investigating a fatal incident involving a vehicle and a pedestrian. Early this morning, at approximately 8:14 am, authorities were alerted to an accident at the intersection of Braddock Avenue and O’Connell Blvd.

Upon arrival, first responders discovered a 75-year-old male victim who had been struck by a vehicle. Despite immediate medical attention, the victim was declared deceased after being transported to a local hospital.

The involved driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with the investigation. Current findings indicate the vehicle was headed north on Braddock Avenue when it veered off the road, leading to the tragic collision.
