FREDERICK, MD – On Thursday, at about 10:45 am, officers from the Frederick Police Department attended an incident on the 1200 block of West Patrick Street.
A pedestrian in a wheelchair had been involved in a vehicle accident.
Upon arrival, officers found a vehicle stopped in the road and began an investigation. Despite life-saving efforts by Emergency Medical Services, the pedestrian was declared dead at the scene.
The individual’s identity is currently withheld.
The FPD Crash Reconstruction Team is actively investigating the circumstances of the accident. Further details will be shared as they become available.
