Pedestrian Robbed at Gunpoint in Wilmington, Suspect Sought

Wilmington, DE – The Delaware State Police are investigating a robbery that took place on Maryland Avenue in the area of South Broom Street last night.

The victim was approached by an unknown black male suspect who stole his backpack after brandishing what appeared to be a handgun. The suspect fled on foot with the victim’s belongings.

The suspect is described as a black male, with no images or surveillance video available yet.

The Delaware State Police Troop 2 Criminal Investigations Unit is actively looking into the case.
