Pedestrian Seriously Injured in West Earl Township Crash

WEST EARL TOWNSHIP, PA – The West Earl Township Police Department is investigating a vehicle crash involving a sedan and a tow truck driver.

The incident occurred on Tuesday, at 2:56 PM on the entrance ramp for 222 North and Route 772.

Upon arrival, officers found that the tow truck driver had sustained serious injuries. He was transported to Lancaster General Hospital for medical assistance.

The driver of the sedan remained at the scene and is cooperating with the ongoing investigation.

The Lancaster County Crash Team is assisting the West Earl Township Police Department in their investigation. The entrance ramp was temporarily closed for evidence collection and scene processing.
