Pedestrian Struck and Killed on North Broad Street

PHILADELPHIA, PA – On Thursday, July 6, a fatal crash involving an auto and a pedestrian occurred on the 27XX block of North Broad Street. The incident took place at around 3:30 A.M.

The victim, identified as 35-year-old Tamarah Savage from the 15XX block of West Lehigh Avenue, was hit by a white sedan while crossing the street. The vehicle fled the scene, heading northbound on Broad Street. Crash Investigation Division has seized debris left behind by the vehicle for investigation. The case remains open and the vehicle involved has not yet been located.
