Pedestrian stuck and killed in Rockville

ROCKVILLE, MD – On Tuesday, a pedestrian fatality on Piccard Drive near Redland Road is under investigation by detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU). At around 5:10 am, Rockville City Police and Montgomery County Fire Rescue responded to a collision involving a vehicle and a pedestrian.

Preliminary findings indicate that a blue 2018 Honda Civic, traveling northbound on Piccard Drive, struck a pedestrian identified as 31-year-old Rajon Pierre Mozee of Rockville, who was lying in the roadway. The driver remained at the scene. The investigation is active and ongoing.
