Pennsylvania Boy Wins National Mullet Championship

POTTSTOWN, Pa. – A unique hairstyle has earned a 6-year-old Pennsylvania boy the coveted title of the 2023 Kids Mullet Champion. Rory Ehrlich, sporting his mullet known as the “Cheddar Wiz,” triumphed over 300 other children aged 3-8 in the competition.

Mullet Champ, the organization responsible for the USA Mullet Championships, made the announcement and celebrated the creativity behind the hairstyles.

The second-place award went to 3-year-old Hawaii boy Ezekiel Arita with the “Mr. Aloha Mullet,” and the third-place honor was claimed by 5-year-old Pennsylvania boy Kamden Cunningham, showcasing the “Kammander” mullet.

The Kids Mullet Championship has become an amusing and engaging competition that celebrates the iconic short-in-the-front, long-in-the-back hairstyle.

Registration is now open for this year’s men’s and over-55 mullet contests, continuing through Aug. 31, as the organization looks forward to another year of unique hairdo creativity.
