$300K Cash 5 jackpot ticket sold at Montgomery County smoke shop

Lower Salford Township, PA — One lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player is $300,000 richer after purchasing a jackpot-winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash ticket at a local smoke shop in Montgomery County.

The winning ticket, sold for the Wednesday, September 17 drawing, matched all five numbers — 10, 16, 23, 27, and 29 — to claim the full jackpot amount, less applicable withholding. The ticket was purchased at Smoke Shop & Convenience Store, located at 371 Main Street in Lower Salford Township. The retailer will receive a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

Lottery officials have not yet announced the identity of the winner, as prizes must first be claimed and tickets validated. Players have one year from the date of the drawing to claim their winnings.

In addition to the jackpot prize, more than 10,400 other Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets won smaller prizes from the same drawing.

The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds all players to check every ticket, every time, as many lower-tier prizes can be claimed at any Lottery retailer.
