Pennsylvania Lottery Retailer in Franklin County Sells $100,000 Powerball Ticket

CHAMBERSBURG, PA – Money Saver Discount, a Pennsylvania Lottery retailer in Franklin County, has sold a winning Powerball with Power Play ticket worth $100,000 for the April 3, 2023 drawing. The lucky ticket managed to match four of the five white balls drawn, including the Powerball number 1, to secure the six-figure prize.

Had the ticket not opted for the Power Play option, the ticket would have been worth $50,000. However, the Power Play multiplier drawn was two, doubling the value of the prize to a whopping $100,000, less applicable withholding.

The winning numbers for the Monday, April 3 drawing were 16-30-31-54-68, with a Powerball number of 1.

Money Saver Discount, located at 36 South Main St. in Chambersburg, also receives a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.

The Pennsylvania Lottery encourages all winners to sign the back of their tickets, keep them in a safe place, and contact the nearest Lottery office as soon as possible to claim their prize. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prize.
