Pennsylvania Lottery says a single ticket purchased in Duncansville matched all five numbers to win more than $1.24 million
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. — A Pennsylvania Lottery player is holding a ticket worth more than $1.24 million after matching all five numbers drawn in the June 9 Cash 5 with Quick Cash drawing.
The jackpot-winning ticket matched the numbers 5, 8, 32, 33 and 41 to claim a prize of $1,241,034 before applicable withholding, according to the Pennsylvania Lottery.
The winning ticket was sold at Unique Smokes, located at 506 3rd Avenue in Duncansville Borough, Blair County.
In addition to producing the jackpot winner, the retailer will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
Lottery officials said the winner cannot be identified until the prize is claimed and the ticket is validated.
Players have one year from the drawing date to claim a main Cash 5 prize. Anyone holding the jackpot-winning ticket is encouraged to contact the Pennsylvania Lottery or visit a regional lottery office for prize-claim instructions.
The June 9 drawing also produced more than 24,700 other winning Cash 5 with Quick Cash tickets across Pennsylvania.
The Pennsylvania Lottery reminded players to check every ticket, as lower-tier prizes can be claimed through authorized lottery retailers.
