YORK, Pa. — A Pennsylvania man is in custody after allegedly firing a gun at an Instacart driver who arrived at his home to deliver groceries his wife had ordered, police said Wednesday.
Nicholas Sabo, 43, was charged with recklessly endangering another person following the January 18 incident. Authorities said Sabo’s wife had placed an order for groceries from Weis Markets but did not inform her husband.
When the 35-year-old delivery driver arrived at Sabo’s home with his wife and daughter in the car, Sabo allegedly fired his Glock 19 at the vehicle without providing any explanation for his actions, according to investigators.
No injuries were reported, but police emphasized the gravity of the incident. “The driver was simply fulfilling an order and posed no threat,” law enforcement stated in their report.
Sabo was arrested and is awaiting further court proceedings.
