Perth Amboy Police Department Celebrates Achievements of Youth Cadet Program

PERTH AMBOY, NJ — The Perth Amboy Police Department highlighted the accomplishments of participants in its Police Youth Cadet Academy, praising the cadets for their dedication, leadership, and enthusiasm. The program enables students to explore law enforcement careers while engaging in community service and developing teamwork and communication skills.

Cadets have positively impacted their peers and mentors through their commitment and eagerness to learn. The department expressed pride in these students and anticipation for their future contributions.

Special thanks were extended to Chief Cattano, Kenny Ortiz from the Office of Recreation, and core staff members including Counselor Mabel Leonardo, Lt. Cabrera, and Lead Instructors P.O. Arce, P.O. J. Morales, and P.O. Irizarry for their pivotal roles in the program’s success.
