TRENTON, N.J. — A lucky lottery player from Middlesex County has scored a $1 million payout after matching five numbers in the Cash 4 Life game, missing only the Cash Ball in Saturday’s drawing.
The ticket, sold at Abreu Food Mart at 144 Lewis Street in Perth Amboy, matched the numbers 01, 03, 11, 17, and 58. The Cash Ball was 02. By selecting the cash option, the winner will receive the second-tier prize of $1 million, the cash equivalent of $1,000 a week for life.
The retailer that sold the ticket will receive a $10,000 bonus for facilitating the winning transaction.
This marks the second major Cash 4 Life win in New Jersey in just two weeks. Earlier this month, a player from Union County won the top prize and took home the $7 million cash value payout.
Cash 4 Life, played in nine states including New Jersey, offers two lifetime jackpot prizes. The top prize awards $1,000 a day for life, and the second-tier prize awards $1,000 a week for life. Both have corresponding lump-sum cash payout options.

The game also includes seven lower-tier prize levels, ranging from $2 to $2,500. A “DOUBLER” feature, available for an extra $1, can double all non-jackpot prizes up to $5,000. Drawings are held nightly at 9 p.m.
The winning Middlesex County player has not been publicly identified, and it is unknown whether the winner has come forward to claim the prize.
Lottery officials encourage players to check their tickets and remind winners to sign the back immediately and contact lottery headquarters for prize claims.
