Perth Amboy Welcomes 13 New Firefighter Recruits

Perth Amboy, NJ – The Perth Amboy Fire Department proudly announced the appointment of 13 recruit firefighters this week, a significant addition aimed at strengthening the city’s emergency response capabilities. Under the guidance of the Training Division, these new members will undergo comprehensive training, encompassing pre-academy physical fitness, classroom education, and hands-on skills training. This rigorous preparation is designed to equip them with the necessary knowledge and skills before their formal training at the Fire Academy, which commences on February 20th.

The department expressed its gratitude towards Mayor Caba, the city administration, and the council for their support in enhancing the fire department’s staffing levels. This strategic move underscores the city’s commitment to ensuring the safety and well-being of the Perth Amboy community.
