Philadelphia Cops Crash Enroute to Police Assist Call

Philadelphia, PA — An officer from the 15th District was involved in a collision at Roosevelt Blvd and Saint Vincent Street at 4:13 PM while responding to an assist call.

The incident occurred when a black sedan cut off the police vehicle traveling in the northbound outer lanes, causing it to strike a white Mitsubishi. Medic 39 is transporting the officer to Jeanes Hospital, where he is expected to be treated and released.

There are no reported injuries to civilians. The police vehicle sustained heavy front-end damage, while the private vehicle has heavy rear-end damage.
