A Lottery retailer in Philadelphia recently made headlines as it sold a Powerball with Power Pla ticket worth $250,000 for the Monday, March 11 drawing. The ticket, matching four of the five white balls drawn (1-3-7-16-66) along with the red Powerball 5, secured the substantial prize, less applicable withholding.

Without the $1 Power Play option, the ticket would have amounted to $50,000, but the Power Play multiplier drawn was five.

Sunoco, located at 4001 Woodhaven Road, Philadelphia, had the honor of selling the winning ticket and earned a $500 bonus for its contribution to the fortunate transaction. As the jackpot rolled to an estimated annuity value of $559 million, or $273.3 million cash, eager participants eagerly anticipated the next drawing on Wednesday, March 13.
