Philadelphia Man Sentenced for Drug Trafficking in Butler County

HARRISBURG, PA – Attorney General Michelle Henry announced the sentencing of Quinzal Powell, a 33-year-old Philadelphia man, for trafficking heroin/fentanyl into Butler County.

Powell has been sentenced to 8 to 16 years in state prison after pleading guilty to felony possession with intent to deliver.

The investigation revealed that Powell transported significant quantities of heroin/fentanyl for distribution.


The Butler County District Attorney, Butler County Detectives, and Butler City police were involved in the investigation.

A vehicle stop on October 15, 2020, led to the discovery of 1,150 bags of fentanyl in Powell’s possession.
