Philadelphia Officer’s Vehicle Hit in Late-Night Incident, DUI Arrest Made

PHILADELPHIA, PA – A police vehicle from the 39th District was involved in a collision at 2800 North 29th Street just before midnight. The police vehicle, while in routine operation, was struck by a white Chevy Malibu, resulting in a minor dent to the rear bumper.

No injuries were reported in the incident, and neither vehicle required towing. Despite the absence of significant damage, the driver of the Chevy Malibu was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence (DUI).

Details about the offender have not been disclosed. The Crash Investigation Division of the Philadelphia Police Department is conducting an active and ongoing investigation into the incident.
