PHILADELPHIA, PA — A lucky Pennsylvania Lottery player has won $1 million after purchasing a $1,000,000 Winnings Scratch-Off ticket in Philadelphia, officials announced.

The winning ticket was sold at ShopRite of Parkside, located at 1575 North 52nd Street. As a result, the retailer will receive a $5,000 bonus for selling the top-prize ticket.

The $1,000,000 Winnings Scratch-Off is a $20 game that offers players the chance to win up to $1 million. The Pennsylvania Lottery reminds players to sign the back of their ticket immediately and contact the Lottery at 1-800-692-7481 to claim their prize.

Scratch-Off prizes expire one year from the game’s end-sale date, which is posted on the Pennsylvania Lottery’s website. All prizes over $5,000 are subject to applicable tax withholdings.
