Philadelphia police investigate shooting after man arrives at Temple Hospital with gunshot wounds

PHILADELPHIA — A man is in critical but stable condition after being brought to Temple University Hospital with gunshot wounds to his chest and abdomen, Philadelphia police said. Officers from the 25th District responded to the incident after the victim arrived at the hospital around 3:30 p.m. on Saturday, transported by a private vehicle.

The circumstances of the shooting remain unclear, as police have not yet determined the location where the incident took place. Authorities reported that no weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made in connection with the shooting.

The Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigations Group is leading the probe and is actively working to gather information about the case. Investigators are urging anyone with information to come forward, emphasizing that tips can remain anonymous.
