Philadelphia police seek suspect in fatal hit-and-run involving stolen vehicle

PHILADELPHIA — Police are seeking public assistance in identifying a man linked to a fatal hit-and-run crash that occurred on October 13 at the intersection of 5th Street and Indiana Avenue in the city’s 25th District.

The suspect, described as a Black male, approximately 5’11” with a thin build and curly hair, was reportedly driving a stolen Hyundai involved in the collision. After the crash, which resulted in a fatality, the man fled the scene on foot.

The Philadelphia Police Department released an image of the suspect and urged residents not to approach him if spotted. Instead, they are asked to immediately call 911.

Authorities continue to investigate the incident and urge anyone with information to come forward.
