Philadelphia Ticket Wins $1 Million in Powerball Drawing

Pile of money.

MIDDLETOWN, PA — A Powerball ticket worth $1 million was sold at a Philadelphia retailer for the drawing on September 23. The ticket matched five of the five white balls drawn: 15, 21, 25, 37, and 45, but did not match the red Powerball 19.

The winning ticket was sold at Sak Traders Inc., located at 3670 Richmond St., which will receive a $5,000 bonus for this sale. Winners have one year from the drawing date to claim their prizes.

In addition to the $1 million winner, more than 26,700 other Powerball tickets won prizes in the same drawing. The Powerball jackpot has rolled over to an estimated annuity value of $223 million, or $112.2 million in cash, for the next drawing on September 25. Players are encouraged to check all tickets regularly.
