Pinebluff Man Accused of Murdering Uncle, Faces Stolen Firearm Charge

PINEBLUFF, NC – A Pinebluff resident, Tyheem Allbrooks, 23, has been arrested and charged for murdering his uncle, Gregory Savalas Allbrooks, 43, according to information released by the Moore County Sheriff’s Department.

Allbrooks was arrested and jailed without bond at the Moore County Detention Center. He is also facing a charge of possession of a stolen firearm.

Deputies responded to a home in the 100 block of Jeans Loop Road in Pinebluff shortly after 4 a.m. on Sunday. Upon arrival, deputies found Gregory Allbrooks, who had been shot multiple times. He was later pronounced dead at First Health Moore Regional Hospital. Investigators determined that Gregory Allbrooks had been shot by his nephew, Tyheem Allbrooks, who resided at the same address.
