Piscataway police enforcing truck weight limit on River Road

PISCATAWAY, N.J. — The Piscataway Township Police Department’s Traffic Safety Division is actively enforcing Township Ordinance 7-25, which restricts vehicles over 10 tons (20,000 pounds) from traveling on River Road between Landing Lane and Centennial Avenue.

The enforcement targets overweight vehicles using the restricted section to ensure road safety and compliance with local regulations.

Authorities remind drivers to follow posted weight limits to avoid penalties and protect township infrastructure.
