TECUMSEH, OK – A 4-year-old boy was mauled by a pitbull while trying to pet the dog’s puppies police are reporting. On Friday night, Officer Aaron McCormick was dispatched to the scene of the attack and found the boy and applied a tourniquet. Officer McCormick said the puppies were chewing on the boy’s arm inside the dog pen.
The dog was put down by animal control and the boy is recovering the hospital. As of now police are treating the incident as an accident and no charges have been filed against the boy’s grandparents where he was staying at the time.
