Pittsburgh Police Issue Alert for Missing 13-Year-Old Who Never Came Home from Movie Theater

PITTSBURGH, PA – The Pittsburgh Police Department has issued an alert for a missing 13-year-old girl and are now asking the public for assistance in locating her.

Pittsburgh Police SVU said Ashlynn Southerland is 5’1″, 115 pounds with black hair and blue eyes, with a scar under her right eye. She was last seen by her family on July 30. Her last known potential location was at a movie theater in Bridgeville on August 2.

Ashlynn is known to spend time in Brookline, Beechview, and Dormont. She may also be in Mt. Lebanon. Her phone is turned off and she may be in the company of adult males, police said.
