Pocono Township Cop Assaulted by Drunken Female Suspect

POCONO TWP, PA – On Saturday, officers from the Pocono Township Police Department were called to Toccoa Road regarding a reportedly violent and intoxicated female.

Upon arrival, Linda J. Eason, 56, from Eagleville, PA, was found in a nearby wooded area.

When officers attempted to provide assistance, Eason reacted aggressively, assaulting and even biting an officer while being transported for medical attention.

Despite being treated for her injuries, her unruly behavior persisted at the hospital, leading to a second incident of biting the same officer.

Eason is currently awaiting arraignment at the Monroe County Correctional Facility, facing charges including Aggravated Assault, Resisting Arrest, and Disorderly Conduct, among others.
