POINT PLEASANT BEACH, N.J. — A Powerball ticket sold in Point Pleasant Beach has won $50,000 in the Saturday, Feb. 1, drawing, New Jersey Lottery officials announced Monday.

The winning ticket was purchased at Wine Outlet, located at 526 Arnold Ave., and matched four of the five white balls plus the red Power Ball, securing the third-tier prize.

The winning numbers for the Feb. 1 drawing were 23, 29, 32, 49, and 61, with the red Power Ball number 08, according to lottery officials.

Matching four white balls and the Power Ball is one of the game’s higher prize tiers, falling just below the jackpot and second-tier prizes.
