Police Address Chaotic Video on Social Media During Police Response at School

BALTIMORE COUNTY, MD – A social media video revealed a dramatic scene at Kenwood High School yesterday, showing heavily armed Baltimore County Police’s tactical team entering the premises. The video also captured students rapidly evacuating the school, a response in line with the ALICE protocol.

The Baltimore County Police Department said the incident captured on video shows police following proper protocal. Standing for Alert, Lockdown, Inform, Counter, Evacuate, this protocol forms part of the Baltimore County Public Schools Active Assailant Protocol.

The incident, which led to a brief lockdown of the school, was first reported at 11:33 a.m. The police intervention was part of an ongoing investigation within the school. Authorities have confirmed the safety of all students and expressed gratitude for the community’s support and cooperation.
